Preservation Talks and Lectures

Botanical Gardens
The botanical gardens will be designed to complement the historic McNab House and highlight the natural beauty of South Florida. The garden setting will help frame the house while offering visitors a place to walk, relax, learn, and gather.
The master plan includes an immersive sensory garden, which is intended to engage visitors through sight, scent, sound, texture, and movement. This type of garden can offer a more interactive experience for children, families, seniors, and people of all ages.
McNab House & Botanical Gardens Updates
As the McNab House & Botanical Gardens project continues to move forward, community updates and public programs will help keep residents informed and engaged.
The project’s master plan includes the restoration and adaptive reuse of the McNab House, botanical gardens, an immersive sensory garden, a restaurant with an expanded outdoor patio, and an event pavilion.
Events related to this project may include project presentations, garden previews, volunteer opportunities, donor gatherings, and educational programs about the history of the McNab family and the future of the site.
Community Heritage Events
